Access from the aiport (A2-Barcelona):
Take the access to M-40 highway direction A-3 and A-4 (Valencia & Andalusia). Take the turn off towards Vicalvaro-O'Donnell. At the roundabout go in direction O'Donnell until you reach Alcala street. Continue down Alcala street until you reach the Puerta del Sol.
By Metro:
Take line 8 from the Airport, change at Nuevo Ministerios to line 6. Change at Cuatro Caminos to line 2. Exit on Puerta del Sol station. Another option is change at Nuevo Ministerios take line 10 till Tribunal. At Tribunal take line 1 till Sol.
